It's monday again, and it only means one thing... market day here in Poblacion, Carles. It's time for cheap shopping... and the most popular?... ukay-ukay. :) Of course it also means cheaper foods, vegetables, dried fish, etc.

Carles Public Market
Have a look at the daily happenings of the busiest place in town, the Carles Public Market. Outside the Market is the terminal for different types of transportation, but the most popular at the moment are the "singles" (motorbike).
Locally grown vegetables and fruits are for everyone to enjoy at a very reasonable prices.
Some of the fruits were imported from the city or nearby towns.
One of the many pride of Carles is the abundance of it's sorrounding sea. Fresh fish, sea shells, shrimps, crabs and many more are daily sights at the wet market.
