Since we are starting a new page of our political history here in Carles... I thought it would be nice to share to you a little bit of our history, as well... the Mayors of Carles, Iloilo.

    Good job with the web site. I thought there's one missing on the past mayors.Whas there a Victor Bartolome SR?

    I'm not sure if Mr. Victor Bartolome Sr. was a mayor of Carles. These photos were from the Municipal Hall and he's photo wasn't there. Maybe he was an OIC during a transiion... but then, I'm not sure of that either.

    As i know Victor Bartolome was also a mayor of Carles, he was lost during the world war II abducted by Japanese soldiers.This i know and heard from my old folks. And he wasn't there in the photos as they don't have a photo of him...
